Whiskers

Jed Martin (11-year-old Michael Caloz) is a shy 10-year-old, just moved to a new town with his parents and his best and true friend, his cat, Whiskers. It's hard to make new friends; topping that, Jed is afraid his parents want him to get rid of Whiskers. Maybe if his friend were a kid like himself...?

A museum visit brings Jed face to face with the Egyptian goddess, Bastet, gleaming solid gold, mysterious, certainly able (isn't she?) to cast a magic spell. Everything flows from this fateful visit.
