Fifty years after the end of the original TV broadcasts, all three seasons of the Flipper TV series have finally been released on Blu-ray.

Olive Films released the Blu-rays for Seasons 1 & 2 in August 29, 2017. The Season 3 Blu-ray was released October 31, 2017.

The Olive Films discs mark the first Blu-ray release of the Flipper TV series. Also, this is the first time Season 3 has been released on any disc format.

Olive Films has also released DVD versions for Season 2 & 3 but not for Season 1.

Seasons 1 & 2 had been released earlier by MGM: Season 1 on April 24, 2007. Season 2 (recordable DVD) on June 3, 2010. Both of these items can still be purchased online.

The Flipper TV series was a followup to the successful feature films, Flipper (1963) and Flipper's New Adventure (1964). The series was broadcasted between 1964 and 1967. Since then it has been shown in sydication on different channels, including Animal Planet.

Luke Halpin starred in both the feature films as well as all three seaons of the series.
