Former Flipper stars, Luke Halpin and Tommy Norden, visited Norway and Holland on a promotion tour for the TV series, which is now being shown there. Everywhere they went they received Beatle-like welcomes and, among other things, were entertained by the captain of a Norwegian training ship.

Luke Halpin
You've often seen Luke in Flipper TV series and in the pages of 16 and 16 SPEC, but just wait'll you see him in United Artists' new technicolor movie If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium. In this great new flick, Luke plays an American "hippy" named "Bo" on a wild bus tour through England and the Continent. It'll be wingin' your way in May!

Dear Miss Stavers,
Can you please tell me how tall adorable LUKE HALPIN is? When is his birthday and where can I write to him? Geraldine Brush, Norfok, Va.

Dear Geraldine,
Luke is five feet and ten inches tall and he was born on April 4, 1947. As you probably know, he has recently done a lot of guest appearances on various TV shows - and he is now trying to choose between doing his own TV or starring in a movie! 16 SPEC will let you know - when LUKE makes up his mind.

Even a turn on the yarde detail Luke doesn't mind, especially since his sidekick "Whisky" helps all he can. It doesn't take long to police the palm fronds, then Luke is free to go sight-seeing in his sports car.
